Podiatric services are not covered by the Régie de l'assurance maladie du Québec (RAMQ). However, there are some private insurance that cover podiatric services. Please contact your insurance company to know your coverage’s details.
How often should I see a podiatrist?
There is no rule per say, but It is recommended to see a podiatrist as soon as you feel any pain or discomfort in the region of the foot or if you have medical conditions affecting your feet such as diabetes.
